Your account
Delete your account
In the game
- Open Profile from the title screen.
- Press Delete account, under your sign-ins.
- Type your player name and press Delete my account. The account is deleted at once, and every device signed in to it is signed out.
If your Profile page has no Delete account button yet, update the game, or use email.
Here, on this page
Download a copy of everything we hold for your account, or delete it, by signing in with the account you play with.
- Type your player name exactly as it shows on your Profile page.
- Sign in with the account you play with. The account is deleted at once, and every device signed in to it is signed out.
Sign in, and your browser saves a file with your account as our server holds it: your profile, collection, decks, settings, match history and when the account was made and last seen, in JSON. Nothing is deleted.
By email
- Email support@ironember.net with the subject Delete my account, your exact player name as it shows on your Profile page, and which sign-in you use (Google, Apple, Microsoft, Steam or this device).
- Because we hold no email address for any account, we will confirm that it is yours: we reply naming two of the game’s eight titles, in an order we choose, and ask you to set them on your profile one after the other and tell us when each is done. The server keeps only those eight titles, so a phrase of our own could never be set; two of eight in order is one chance in sixty-four, and only someone signed in as that player can do it at all.
- We delete the account and confirm by reply, within 30 days and usually much sooner.
What is deleted
- The account itself and its random id.
- Every sign-in linked to it, meaning the hashed identities that let a provider find the account.
- Every session that keeps a device signed in to it, on every device, whether or not the game is open there at the time.
- Your player name, title, picture and favourite factions. The name becomes free for someone else to choose.
- Your Ember Stones, forged cards, card packs and decks.
- Your saved settings for every device.
- Your match history list.
Backup copies expire within 30 days of deletion, and technical logs within 30 days of being written.
What remains
The record of each match you played is kept, because a match belongs to both players: it stays in your opponents’ own histories while it is listed there, and on the server for as long as the game runs. A record holds both players’ names and account ids, the decks they played and every move; once your account is deleted, the game shows you there as Deleted player (a record from before 4 October 2026 still shows the name you used then). Reports you made or that name you, and problems you reported, are kept for one year with your account’s id, then deleted. Nothing else about you remains, and nothing that remains holds the sign-in you used.
A shorter way
If you only want to disconnect one sign-in, or change your name, the Profile page in the game does both without deleting anything.
